The Alternative is a medium sized, wholly Western Australian owned advertising agency. The company commenced business in 1991 and is owned by its directors Terry Evans and Andrew Meredith.

Gone are the days when senior advertising management sat in ivory towers and delegated everything down the line. As the agency's Managing Director, clients appreciate Terry's approachable manner and ready access to his business sense and strategic thinking skills. It goes without saying that Terry's management style is very much "hands on". He builds positive relationships between clients, their staff and our agency. Prior to establishing The Alternative in 1991, Terry spent nine years at senior management level with Marketforce where he was an Associate Director.
Andrew Meredith
General Manager / Account Manager
As the former Advertising & Public Relations Manager of Challenge Bank, Andrew knows what a client expects from their advertising agency. Because, he's been a client, he understands your needs go beyond creating ads. He understands a client's broad based objectives and the day to day pressures they face. Andrew thrives in applying sound marketing solutions to maximise results. In doing so, he developes marketing aims that are relevant, understandable, measurable, believable and achievable. Before forming The Alternative with Terry Evans he was Senior Account Director with Marketforce. He is also a Life Member and Past President of the Advertising Institute of Australia's W.A. Division.
